I enjoy performing with voice or without voice on the earth and in the sky.
In performance I draw on a broad range of skills:
Contemporary Dance, Improvisation, Sway Pole, Aerial, voice-movement and Butoh.
- Since 2009, I have attended the aerial course for deaf and disabled people and learnt skills; rope, trapeze and four-metre-high sway pole, organized by Graeae Theatre Company and Circus Space.
- The idea of this project is to see if a deaf person might be able to develop their feeling about, connection to and use of their own voice in such a way that it becomes a ‘soundtrack’ to their own movement.
- I worked with CandoCo Dance Company as a dancer from October 2003 to December 2006.
